I had 6 weeks of struggling to run after a sports chiro got carried away and knocked me out from NY Marathon. I’ve been slowly building mileage over the last couple weeks and am now pain free… so…

I signed up for a spring half marathon! The Publix Atlanta Half Marathon is 17 weeks away and is on St. Patrick’s Day. Sounds good to me!

The training plan that has worked the best for me in the past is Hanson’s for the full marathon. I’m going to use the Hanson’s half marathon plan and see how it goes. Today was 12 x 400m. Wow! It’s been a long time since I’ve done that kind of speedwork. It was 11° and windy but no complaints since I think that’s easier to take than hot and humid.
