Didn’t have a traditional workout today, but it was unseasonably warm outside so I went on a hike. Ended up walking about 6 miles total. It was really nice to just be outdoors and have a peaceful day off before the classes start up again tomorrow. I can’t believe I’m going to be a second semester senior! I’m working on grad school applications so hopefully I won’t have to be a real adult for another year but I’ve just been in awe of my life lately and how far I’ve come in all of my pursuits, my fitness being one of them. I’m not where I want to be but I’m so proud of where I am right now compared to where I started, and I think that’s all we can ever really ask for.



Pilates class this morning (it was my 50th one!!) and then a 1.55 mile run this afternoon to kick off week 3 of my training for a 10k. I don’t have a specific race that I want to compete in, I’m just trying to up my mileage because I’d like to one day so a half marathon. My shins and knees don’t usually handle running well but they’ve been okay so far so we’ll see how it goes.
