Now that the semester is over I can focus on working out today. Most of the Orangetheory classes were full for today and yesterday so the only classes I could take was the 90 minute class on both days. They completely kicked my ass and I’m so sore but it feels good to be working out again.

The last few weeks have been really rough. My father passed away a few days after thanksgiving in a motorcycle accident. I missed an entire week of school flying to Florida to see him in the hospital. Since I’ve gotten back to campus I’ve had to play a major game of catch up to try to take all of my finals and complete all the assignments on time. My body is completely thrown off from the lack of sleep/eating and the excessive amount of stress it is under. I miss working out but the two times I have gone this month I felt weak and I was miserable. I’m looking forward to focusing on my physical + mental health over winter break, but right now I’m so overwhelmed trying to finish the semester. Even with the lack of exercise and eating properly, my physique hasn’t taken a hit.

This pic is from a workout a few days ago but I’m back home for thanksgiving break. I weighed myself for the first time in a few months and I’m down to ~134 lbs which is maybe like a pound or two of weight loss but my mom thinks I look slimmer and I’m definitely stronger and can run faster in my workouts

Every day that I don’t eat as well as I should I always feel like crap during my workout so I should really learn my lesson and start eating better but it’s so hard.

Abs peeping through which I’m super happy about considering I’ve had 4 cinnamon rolls today and croutons for lunch (I got a salad from Panera for dinner so it’s not all bad, I just really need to go grocery shopping tomorrow)

Had an orange theory workout today and picked up my shirt for hell week! It included 23 mins of rowing which I thought would be hell but wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I took a 2 hour nap today which I wish I hadn’t done bc I need to train my body to get use to this new sleep schedule but I really needed it. I have to get up early again tomorrow because I have an interview for a internship next semester.
